Standing in the Gap Day 17- Self-Control
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. God thank you for the precious gift of the Holy Spirit. By acknowledging Jesus as his/her savior, (Name) has the ability to live by the Spirit and bear the fruit of self-control. I declare he/she will make every effort to be faithful, good, knowledgeable, self-controlled, to persevere in godliness, kindness and brotherly love. All of these qualities will keep him/her from being ineffective and unproductive. In the name of Jesus, I say, (Name) will be self-controlled and alert. Our enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. (Name) will resist the devil, and stand firm in the faith. Amen.
