Standing in the Gap Day 24- Discipline

Father, your word says “He will die for lack of discipline, led astray by his own great folly.” I don’t want that to happen to (Name). I decree he/she will heed discipline and listen to correction. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. I claim, (Name) will not forget this word of encouragement that addresses us as sons: he/she will not make light of discipline, (Name) will not lose heart when You rebuke him/her, because You Lord, discipline those You love, and punish everyone You accept as a son. I say, (Name) will not grow bitter with discipline, but will learn from it and harvest peace and righteousness. In Jesus name, Amen.

Standing in the Gap Day 23- Hope



As Your children, God, we place our hope in you. I decree (Name) will be strong and take heart because he/she places hope in You not in things of this world. By putting hope in You, (Name) will renew his/her strength, he/she will soar on wings like eagles; will run and not grow weary, will walk and not be faint. God of hope, thank you for filling (Name) with all joy and peace as he/she trusts in You. I pray his/her hope would overflow by the power of the Holy Spirit and spread to everyone around him/her. I declare (Name)s hope will rest on the promise of eternal life, it will not be swayed or drained by the circumstances of this world. Thank you, Father, for sending Your Son Jesus, that we may look forward to eternity with You. Amen.

Standing in the Gap Day 22- Faith





Thank you Heavenly Father for Your amazing, saving grace. For it is by grace we are saved, through faith it is not from anything we do, it is a precious gift from You. Your Word says because of faith, sins are forgiven. Because of faith we are Your children. I declare today (Name) will have abundant, mountain moving faith. I say he/she will be active in sharing his/her faith, and will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. (Name) will be sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. In addition to all this, (Name) will take up the shield of faith, and extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one just the way that Jesus did. I praise you God for Your goodness, Your mercy and Your perfect gifts. Amen.

Standing in the Gap Day 21- Attitude

Lord thank you for Your Word that directs us in the way we should go and teaches us the way we should live. I say no matter what (Name) is doing he/she will have the same attitude as Christ Jesus. I declare she/he will think about whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy these are the things (Name) will focus on. I decree that (Name) will work with all his/her heart and a good attitude, as working for You, not for men. Thank you Lord for the inheritance you have promised (Name) as a reward for a right attitude. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Standing in the Gap Day 20- Example



God Your Word is precious to me and it says even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right. Regardless of age (Name) will set an example for others in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. I decree (Name) will be known by his/her actions and by his/her faith in You. (Name) will make good decisions and will not cause anyone to stumble. In everything, (Name) will set an example by doing what is good, he/she will live so others will see his/her good deeds. To this (Name) was called, because Christ suffered for him/her, leaving an example, that he/she should follow in his steps. Amen.

Standing in the Gap Day 19- Giving



Father God, thank you for giving so abundantly to us. I cannot thank you enough for the gifts of Salvation, Your love and my loved ones. I declare, (Name) will be a cheerful giver. Your Word says “whoever sows generously will also reap generously”. I say, (Name) will give time, talent and tithes abundantly. His/her motivation to give, is to bring You glory, not to receive honors from man. I decree, (Name) will desire treasure in heaven above treasure on earth. He/she will look not only to his/her own interests, but also to the interests of others. (Name) will remember, the Lord Jesus himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive’. Thank you for reminding us to give. Amen.

Father, your eyes saw (Name)s unformed body, he/she is your workmanship. (Name) was created, by You, to do good works in the name of Jesus Christ. All the days ordained for him/her were written in your book before one of them came to be. Thank you for Your plan to prosper (Name), to give him/her hope and a future. I praise You for Your plan and Your purpose. I decree (Name) will not worry about the future because each day has enough trouble of its own. Your Word says, “all things work for the good of those who love you” and I claim that promise today for (Name). Thank you God, for going ahead of us and meeting us in tomorrow.
